The annual International Festival ‘Art – Assemblies. Days of Russian culture’ takes place from 13th to 22nd March 2014. These extraordinary days of Russian culture introduce the opportunity to experience the unique creativity of lyricist Larissa Rubalskaya. The program will include her performance of ‘Waiting for Happiness‘.

Larissa Rubalskaya: Writer, poet and translator is a member of the Moscow Writers’ Union and lyricist of multi-faceted popular recordings. This gifted artiste is always popular with audiences. A truly exceptional bard she is first and foremost a person with a difficult fate. Because of her inborn ability, she has the ability to communicate in emotive lines of love, pain or the joy of meeting after a long separation. This quality is the preserve of those who have themselves experienced those profound feelings.
Composing poetic verse asks and identifies questions relating to self evaluation, the appraisal of others and the world condition. The sensitive penetrating soul of the poet’s eye identifies essential detail. What the bard’s soul-eye sees resonates and into the female soul delves deeply.

These include Baden-Baden (Kurhaus), Berlin (Russisches Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur), Braunschweig (Stadthalle), Bremen (Die Glocke), Leipzig (Gewandhaus), Munich (Gasteig) and Dusseldorf’s (Savoy Theatre).
Larissa Rubalskaya’s German audiences will benefit from a specially selected anthology of the artiste’s most popular poems. Each will be accompanied by her trademark charm, her elegance and her engaging smile.
